Kofsky Law $1,000 Family Law Scholarship

Kofsky Law, a trusted family law and divorce firm, is proud to offer a $1,000 scholarship to support students interested in legal studies, bioethics, and evolving issues in family law. This opportunity invites eligible students to submit a 1,000-word original essay addressing a timely legal and ethical dilemma in modern family law.

Essay Topic:
Emerging definitions of when life begins: The responsibilities of divorcing spouses relating to the equitable distribution of frozen embryos harvested during the marriage.

In your essay, take an informed and persuasive stance, supported by legal precedent, ethical considerations, and/or personal insight. We’re looking for thoughtful, well-researched writing that explores the complex intersection of family law, reproductive technology, and evolving definitions of personhood in the United States.

Essay Length: 1,000 words. Essays that do not meet the word requirement will not be considered.
